Kirk’s dad had his surgery yesterday and is doing well. He ended up with four bypasses, but it all went as expected, and he’s going to be moved to a regular room later today. He seems to have a great attitude so far, and we’re all proud of how well he’s doing. Thank you for your prayers.

Yesterday Grant saw snow for the first time!

  2. I am thankful that the surgery went well. What a stressful time! 4 bypasses! We have you all in our prayers – keep us posted.

At Mason and Anna’s school this year – each teacher has a Christmas tree and the children can donate money as a funraiser for cancer research . . . and when they donate, they can decorate an ornament for the tree. Both of my kids decorated an ornament for Maddy and an ornament for Annette. It made me so sad . . . but at the same time I was thrilled they thought of it. It means your sweet baby girls still live strong in the memories of those who love them.

  3. So glad that Mr. Ronnie is doing well. Continued prayers for a full, speedy recovery.

Glad to know that Grant was able to get in on the snow. I remember the thrill of snow as a child–hope he had a great time.

I’m not sure if my doc will allow me to participate in the virtual blood drive for December, but as soon as I can, I’ll donate. Until then, we will continue to think of you and your girls often.

    Hugs friend… Hang in there,

  6. Glad to hear that Kirk’s Dad is doing okay. If he takes care of himself he should be just fine. When my Grandfater was 52, he had 5 bypasses and he celebrated his 83rd birthday in October. I hope everyone else is doing well and may the Holiday Season bring you joy. Continued prayers to you all.
